Saturday Night at Grace
What a fantastic party! It was great to see everyone. Here are a few photos.
Laurin, Emily and Hoa
(check out those name tags - Laurin subjected us all to photos from our senior yearbook!)

Caroline, Julia and Laurin after a few more Beavertinis
Some interesting things we learned at our reunion:
Some interesting things we learned at our reunion:
- Weekday events at the schools don't seem to draw a large turnout
- We still know all the words to "By Truth and Toil"
- Condeleeza Rice spoke to us on our Washington trip
- It's great to be around a bunch of other women who "get our sh*t" as only our Brearley classmates can (I can't remember who exactly this quote should be attributed to)
- Beavertinis are damn good!

Surprise Guests
Hi ladies -
As we come down to the final hours before our cocktail party, there's news that there may be some unexpected guests showing up at Grace. Only two faculty members (Mr. Duke and Mrs. Taliaferro) have taken the time to send their regrets... as to the others, who knows whether they'll show up!
In addition, it's been rumored that the members of the Collegiate Class of 1992 (also celebrating their reunion) may be in attendance. It's like Goddard Gaieties all over again!! OMG!!
News of more classmates coming to the cocktail party:
Elisabeth Weed
Claire Ellis
Charlotte Relyea
Lizzy Ratner
See y'all there! (We'll be the ones with the red balloons and the stuffed beaver.)

Guess Who's Coming to the Reunion?
Quite a few of you are checking the blog on a regular basis, so I'm guessing you're curious about who is coming to all the various reunion events. Here is a preview of some of the attendees for this weekend's festivities:
*Hoa Hoang
*Danya Hayward
*Kristen Witty
*Emily Gardiner Herzog
*Lee Berresford
*Heather Halstead
*Liz Alderman
*Laurin Lucaire
*Katie Shutzer Brennan
*Caroline Schaeffer Lewis
You'll have to attend all the events in order to see everyone, so cancel your Saturday night plans and reschedule your Friday lunch meeting. This will be so much more fun than anything you have planned. We promise...

Don't forget to RSVP!
Its less than a week until our reunion, and I'm sure everyone is making plans to be at Grace next Saturday night. Be sure to RSVP to Liz, so we know how many people to expect. LIz's email is lizzyholmes@yahoo.com.
So far, the submissions to the virtual scrapbook have been limited. Ok, let me rephrase that - so far, I've submitted the only photos. Ladies, I know we can do better. This is the overachieving Class of 1992 afterall. Think of this as a Brearley assignment - the more photos you submit, the better your grade. Perhpas I will turn the scrapbook in to panel of Brearley teachers after the reunion to grade everyone's effort. If that doesn't get your attention (or put fear in your heart), I"m not sure what will. Information on submitting photos can be found on the left side of the blog.
The reunion committee will be posting over the next few days leading up to reunion, so stay tuned!

Party time!
The planning is in full swing for our fifteenth reunion, which will be taking place during the weekend of April 27th. You should have already received an invitation from The Big B for events at the school on Thursday evening, Friday and Saturday, as well as an email from Laurin about the festivities scheduled for Saturday evening.
Come join us as we catch up on the past fifteen years, reminisce fondly about our days at Brearley, and meet spouses, partners and new additions!
If you haven't done so already, please consider making a gift to Brearley in honor of our reunion. We'd like to meet our class goal of $5000 for this year, but we're only 36% of the way there so far!
